Welcome Summer!

Long wait is over, summer is here. People have been waiting for this season to arrive for them to be able to do a lot of things. This is exciting for Mums like me for they can spend quality time with family especially the kids.

Here are some of the activities you can do with your kids during summer.



Going to the Beach

Of course, this is on top of the list. Enjoying the sand, sea, and sun is one of the most looked-forward activity for every family. This is the perfect time for the kids to enjoy swimming, make those sand castles, and do a lot of beach activities with their parents.

Do Summer Crafts

This activity can pretty much catch your kids attention especially when the activities you have for them involves lots of colorful stuffs and involves being on the outdoors. Gardening, making ice cream, doing those personalized cute home decors are just the few things you can learn and enjoy with them.

Picnics

Grab a basket and take your family to a picnic. A park on the next block or down the street can be a great venue for for this activity. Don't forget to bring a kite, a ball, and of course, the blanket with you. The kids will surely love it.

Movie Night

Designate a "movie night". Let the kids decide a movie they want to watch and have it double-feature it with the one that you picked out. Prepare lots of popcorn and drinks before the start of the movie, you might get a shortage on those.

Make a Family Journal

Start a family journal. Sit with the kids at the end of the week and jot down the things that you did for the entire week and the things that you accomplished. This will help you and your family plan the activities for the next summer. Must Do: Paste your pictures on the journal, even the funniest ones!
