I've always dreamed of travelling to all the beautiful beaches in the world. But unfortunately, time doesn't permit me to do so. On the other hand, I am lucky to be born and raised in one of the most spectacular places in the Philippines - Mati City, Davao Oriental.
Mati City is the only city, and the capital, of Davao Oriental. The City of Mati offers beautiful landscapes and beaches. And my favourite — Amihan in Dahican, Mati.

With its 17 kilometers pure, white sand shore, Dahican is one of the most popular destinations in Mati. A home to skimboarding, surfing, and Frisbee — it has now become the haven not just for locals who loves these sports, but for plenty of travelers from all over the world. Amihan hosts an annual skimboarding competition participated by both local and foreign enthusiasts.

More best things here? After-dark party. Bands playing reggae music is a must in this place, it matches the perfect ambiance. One can simply sit down in the sand and have a bottle of beer while watching the sunset. Relaxing, isn't it? Take a trip and be here. :)
